Mod iPad Case

When your boyfriend asks you to quilt something – you quilt it! It isn’t often that something comes up, but when he received his iPad 2 in the mail, I was the first one he turned to.

I had purchased almost two yards of this fabric, knowing this moment would come.

He requested a tight fit,

red thread for quilting,

and a front pocket for accessories.

It came out quite nice, if I do say so myself!

Saturday was our monthly Out of the Box gathering. We had beautiful sunshine and t-shirt weather, all gathered in Nela’s backyard to paint fabric! Each person had their own style: Cathy brought found items from the desert to sun dye with, Wendy dyed her socks, Jenny finger painted . . .

The Out of the Box group gathered to paint fabric. Isn't Dakota cute?

Nela's grandson and I started the morning off playing with shapes and colors. Here are our pieces drying in the sun.
